The Zeekoegat Primary School has been open since 1938. Due to the ever increasing learner numbers at the school and the poor condition of the current building, the community has expressed a great desire for a new school to be built.
Recently the Zeekoegat Primary School Trust was formed by Safari Ostrich Show Farm, De Zeekoegat Guesthouse and Farm, Welgeluk Farm (Olivier Family) and the owner of the Tour Company Sam 2 Tour (Stephen Menzies).
The Zeekoegat Primary School Project Room at Safari Ostrich Show Farm will showcase the entire project and its development. Through exposing around eighty thousand tourists annually to this project we hope to raise the funds required to build the new school. Each individual will get the opportunity to sponsor a ‘brick’ towards the building of the new Zeekoegat Primary School.
Through Social Upliftment and addressing the needs of the community, we hope to give these children the tools and the opportunities to improve their lives as well as give them a solid education built on a solid foundation.
