Safari Ostrich Farm is not only a “tourist” farm but actually primarily a working commercial ostrich farm. We have many breeding ostriches and farm with the ostriches for slaughtering purposes. Today ostrich farming revolves around the demand for the leather and the meat.

We make sure our ostriches have fresh water and enough feed and hence on a daily basis we go replenish their water and food. This has brought about that we have many little wild birds that have “settled” on our farm since there is access to “easy” food for them to have from the ostriches’ feeding stations.

The consequence is that Safari has over the years have also become a bird watcher’s paradise since there is so many different types of birds on the farm to see.
