During your one hour guided tour of Safari Ostrich Farm you will ride through a huge camp with 18 adult breeding ostriches on our tractor-trailer.
During this part of the tour we show you how ostriches breed in nature – we do not interfere with their breeding cycle and unlike our other breeding birds whose eggs we take out of the nest and put in the incubators – we let them follow the natural cycle as if in the wild.
They make their nests and incubate their eggs themselves. The ostriches in this camp has now hatched their eggs and our visitors now see little chicks running around in the camp when we go through there on the tractor. I have taken some footage of these chicks having fun for you to enjoy.
